Eduard Vieta is Full Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Barcelona, head of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at the Hospital Clinic, and Scientific Director of the Biomedical Network Research Center on Mental Health (CIBERSAM). He has been Neuroscience advisor for the European Union Presidency, Invited professor at Harvard University, and Honorary doctor by the University of Valencia. He is the most cited scientist worldwide in the field of bipolar disorder and has been named one of the “world’s most influential minds” by Clarivate Analytics. He has received many awards, including the World’s best researcher in Biological Psychiatry by the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry, the Colvin Prize, the Simon Bolivar Award, and the Trueta Award. This year he won the Distinction of the Faculty of Doctors and the Social Council of the University of Barcelona for excellent activities of scientific and humanistic dissemination.

Kamilla Miskowiak is Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychiatry, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and Head of the Neurocognition and Emotion in Affective Disorders (NEAD) Centre at the Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen, and Mental Health Services, Capital Region of Denmark. The NEAD Centre conducts clinical and experimental studies in patients with mood disorders and healthy volunteers using neurocognitive testing, clinical ratings and neuroimaging. They aim to (i) identify biomarkers of mood disorders, (ii) create new neurocognitive screening tools and methods to reduce the risk of mood disorders, (iii) develop new treatments targeting cognitive impairments and (iv) delineate the mechanisms of treatments. Kamilla Miskowiak has a degree in Psychology from the University of Copenhagen (2006) with a dissertation on multidisciplinary research in depression, which received the university gold medal; an MSc (with distinction) (2004), a DPhil (PhD) (2008) from the University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, in Experimental Psychology and Psychiatry and a DMSc (2018) from the University of Copenhagen. She has authored >230 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals in the field, including Biological Psychiatry, Journal of Neuroscience and Nature Communications. She has received >35 scientific awards and prizes for her research, including a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant.

Eline CHM Haijen is a PhD candidate affiliated with the Psychopharmacology in Maastricht research group within the Department of Neuropsychology and Psychopharmacology at Maastricht University. She holds a research master's degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, specializing in Neuropsychology, also from Maastricht University. Under the guidance of Dr. Kim Kuypers and Prof. Dr. Petra Hurks, experts in psychedelic research and ADHD respectively, Eline focuses her current projects on exploring the potential therapeutic benefits of administering low doses of psychedelics within the ADHD population
